A father who was a Navy man.

A grandfather in the Navy who fought in the Korean War. Two others in the Army.

Great-uncles in the Air Force and Navy, respectively—the latter of which took command of a ship in enemy waters when the commander died on board.

An uncle who was an Army man.

A brother who put in 20 years as an officer with the USMC.

Cousins with Army Special Forces. 

Childhood best friends, high school and college teammates, and a long list of others who became Rangers, enlisted after 9/11, and continue to proudly serve their country in the Reserves.
